Welcome to February’s update! It’s only three pages due to the flow of the scene, but don’t worry, this leads us into the big climactic scene, and that one’s a doozy. 😀
And with this page we see the triumphant return of Corda, showing off her great acrobatic skills. Gangsters in Zedor City are incredibly hands-on, as you’re noticing, and Corda has to keep up with people like Lyons (who has sheer numbers and Wes on his payroll) and Arley (who herself can throw magic around like a pro). Fun fact, Corda and her gang as you might’ve seen earlier often use oneders in fights. They’re the little silver balls that function like one-use spells. It’s like a pokeball but instead of a cute little friend, it’s filled with magic. I dunno, I think I’d prefer a squirtle.
On the technical aspect of this page, I’m continuing with the coloring work I’ve learned and I really love how it’s turning out. I think this is really helping me avoid muddy and too-dark colors, which were an unfortunate issue in volume 1. Always seek new learning, everyone! It really pays off and can be very exciting. 🙂
